A Voice for Women, By a Woman
Dr. Brostrom proudly represents 19% of plastic surgeons who are women in the United States—a figure that speaks volumes about both her determination and the unique perspective she brings to her work.
As a woman, mother, and surgeon, she deeply understands how personal the decision to pursue surgery can be. From body image after childbirth to the desire to age gracefully or feel aligned in one’s gender identity, Dr. Brostrom offers empathy that surpasses clinical training. She has experienced many of the same life changes her patients face—and it shows in the way she listens, advises, and cares for her patients.
“We carry so much as women—emotionally, physically, and socially. I understand those pressures because I’ve experienced them too. That’s why every patient deserves a safe space, honesty, and a comprehensive plan that respects their story.”
— Dr. Lisa Brostrom
