Who is a Good Candidate?

Individuals who are experiencing lost facial volume, wrinkles, or lines and folds can often benefit from Radiesse.  Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning on becoming pregnant should not receive Radiesse injections. A consultation is needed to determine if this treatment is a good match for you.

The Treatment

During your Radiesse treatment, a topical anesthetic will be applied to the treatment area to ensure a comfortable experience. Then, a small, fine needle or cannula will be used to inject Radiesse into the targeted areas. Treatment usually takes about 15-30 minutes to complete depending on the number of facial areas being treated.

Recovery and Results

There is little to no downtime associated with Radiesse treatments, though bruising, redness, itching, and swelling are possible sideeffects that will resolve with time. Patients should also minimize strenuous activity and avoid direct sun exposure for about 24 hours after treatment. Results can last up to one year.
