What Is KeraLase?

KeraLase is a unique treatment for hair loss that uses a combination of laser therapy and a powerful Kerafactor Serum. It was specifically designed to treat hair loss and thinning due to hormonal imbalances, environmental factors, and other physiological factors. It’s a non-surgical treatment that ensures a safe, quick, and painless process.

While the serum contains a mixture of different growth factors to help improve the health of the scalp and stimulate hair growth, the LaseMD Ultra therapy creates micro-channels in the scalp so that the serum can be better absorbed.

Who is a Good Candidate for KeraLase?

KeraLase can be beneficial for those dealing with hair loss or thinning hair, using other hair loss treatments, or have not seen the results they’re looking for from other hair loss treatments.

Good candidates should also be in good overall health and not have any untreated conditions like anemia, thyroid disorders, Cushing’s Syndrome, or an iron deficiency.

The Treatment Process

Before you go to your treatment session, you’ll want to wash your hair with shampoo the night before. On the day of treatment, your hair should be free of products.

Treatment typically takes less than thirty minutes and begins with the LaseMD Ultra therapy. The hair is parted, and the laser is directed at the scalp and the hairline. You may feel a warm or tingly feeling during this portion of treatment.

Next, the Kerafactor Serum is applied to the scalp and allowed to dry. You’ll want to keep the serum on overnight and then wash it off the next day.

Recovery and Results

Once you wash the serum off your scalp, you may notice the area is sensitive and/or red. This is normal and should subside within a couple of hours. Your provider may give you specific shampoo and conditioner to use as you’re going through KeraLase treatment.

A few days after treatment, you may notice some hair shedding. This is due to the laser and is expected.

The KeraLase treatment should be repeated every two weeks for a total of six treatments, and you should begin to see results after your six treatments

To maintain your results, you’ll want to get another round of treatments done 2-3 times a year.
